I had to take some photos of Andy C doing his DJing a while ago. It's not something I know anything about but he certainly knew how to work a room as the punters went fucking MENTAL at his set.
I'm not mad on Drum and Bass but I DO like to see people doing things well (whatever it is) and he was seen as some kind of God by the kids there to see him, that was obvious.
I wish I'd known then that he was West Ham as I would have had something to talk to him about. As it was, it felt like we were from two different worlds.
Impressive bloke, none the less.

Weirdly I had to photograph Chase and Status too. I'd never heard of them either. I didn't think I liked ANY kind of dance music until I was completely sober in the press pit at a festival with 50,000 pilled-up kids and they came out to a massive video-wall and a fantastic light show and did 'No Problem'.
I then realised I was a big fan!

It isn't Ram Records, it's Ram Recordings.
MiM, I once punched Stevie Hyper D off the stage in Atomics and instead of trying to front me up he got an entire tribe of Africans and Indians to try to beat me to death and luckily the Chatham boys and a group of gypsies took them on before they got to me. Absolute carnage.
That's not the only reason I'm glad he's dead though, it was that he ruined almost all my tape packs by insisting on speaking his unique brand of absolute gobshite over the better DJ sets. Examples of which include, but are not exclusive to:
